The Svaty Vit (Saint-Guy) Portfolio, 1928

The fifteen (15) Gelatin Silver Prints contained in The Saint-Guy Portfolio
are all approximately 10 1/2 x 9 1/8 inches in size, with some variation.
As you can see from the scans, most of the prints have oxidized at the edges
of the paper. Each print is mounted to 15 1/2 x 19 1/2 inch cold press
watercolor-type heavy weight paper, stamped with numbers on verso of the
paper, which correspond to the titles/details on the summary page. The
prints themselves are in excellent condition.

The Portfolio is contained in its original black paper folio, embossed with
a red and silver lion on the front. It is worn and thinning with minimal
tatter; comparatively though in decent shape. Officially titled: The Svaty
Vit (Saint-Guy) portfolio of 1928. The 20 page text, including the frontice
page
, and the summary page, is presented in both Czech and French
(Introduction written by Jaroslav Durych). The artist has signed and
numbered (#2) this portfolio in ink on the signature page.
