The S K Josefsberg Studio is pleased to present an exhibition of Vintage and Contemporary Czech Photography, on view at the gallery March 1 - April 7, 2001.

This exhibition of Vintage and Contemporary Czech Photography will rally between modern classicists such as Frantisek Drtikol and Josef Sudek to current fixtures like Viktor Kolár and Ivan Pinkava. Working with the Prague House of Photography, Pavel Banka is the curator of the contemporary photography being featured.

Early modernist examples of Czech photography will be noted by the images of Frantisek Drtikol, Jaromír Funke, Vilém Kríz and Josef Sudek, while recent production will be illustrated by the works of Markéta Banková, Michaela Brachtolvá, Stepán Grygar, Ibra Ibrahimovic, Václav Jirásek, Viktor Kolár, Alena Kotzmannová, Miroslav Machotka, Josef Moucha, and Ivan Pinkava.
